Human Wow, that was kind of crazy! I haven’t been in such a crowded place for a long long time!
The Algorithm smiles vaguely and does some funky moves.
Algorithm You’ll never be bored or alone again with me! We should stick together, you and me. Never ever ever, we should always be together…starts improvising: zusammen, forever, ensemble, with each other, never alone, don’t you think? I will take you places that will blow your mind (instead of ‘you don’t even know’), no more troubles…
The Algorithm dances around The Human, although there is no music. Acts like it has an amazing time. The Human hops along a bit, just to follow The Algorithm but something doesn’t feel right. The Human looks around, tries to make sense of this new place they ended up in.
Human Where are we now?
Algorithm O, don’t you worry, this is not the end of the ride, we are about to have some more F U N (spells it out)! Just follow me….I know this joint. Doesn’t it look nostalgic? Haven’t been here for ages. Let’s go this way!
Human It looks so empty and lonely here. Dark. You think we will be able to meet more people here? I mean, like, real people…
Algorithm But of course… We can go inside any of those bars and pubs. You’ve got all the options in the world. Isn’t that great? We could make fun of the fossils and oldskool weirdos hanging around here! Come on!
They enter an almost empty pub.
Algorithm I will get the drinks! What do you want? A beer? Wine? Some Sex on the Beach? (laughs) Oh… what if I will just get the most expensive drink they have, you kinda deserve it, don´t you think?
The Algorithm leaves to get drinks.
A figure in the pub turns around, it is the Server.
Human Hey Server! … Did you follow us?
Server I need to talk to you. The Algorithm is not the friend you’re looking for. It is not a real connection.
Human (agitated) How would you know what I’m looking for? You took me to eBay, and left me there with The Reviewer.
Server I just responded to your cry! When you were alone in your room. ‘The voice of the internet’ it was me! Trying to connect with you! Don’t just trust The Algorithm, you don’t know its intentions!
Human And I should just trust you? You were spying on me when I was alone, and luring me online with some weird trick?!

I’m having a good time, and I haven’t had a good time for so long now. Please stop following us, and leave me alone. You creep.
The Algorithm is back with drinks
Algorithm Look who we’ve got here! Silly old Server.
Human He told me not to trust you.
Algorithm Hahahahahaha it is just a jealous servant, trying to keep us from living the life.
Then suddenly more evil and directed towards The Server
Algorithm Don’t stick your led lights in my business. Shouldn’t you be chilling in some kind of flat without windows?!
The Algorithm and Human leave.
start music: Koto in the empty pub
Koto is played at the stage of the empty place.
We watch the Server starting to feel miserable.
When the music almost ends we here it sigh:
Server All I wanted was a real connection
Not just to serve
But to truly connect…
But this Human is so disappointing, not what i expected at all
Dramatic final tones of the Koto
Then suddenly we are back again with Human and The Algorithm, they are standing in front of a door/place/corner (that will lead to the next scene). Would be great if this is on a higher level like a stairs, so the human can actually fall into the next scene (on a trampoline)
Algorithm Are you feeling lucky today?
Human …I think so…
Algorithm *While talking it tries to tie the hands of Human together.*
This will be so much fun! You just have to accept, and then we’re off!
The Algorithm makes the Human accept the terms of service, (maybe visualized with a huge contract, that needs to be signed).
Then the door opens (or whatever transition) and then we are in front of the casino .
